Job Title: Payroll Admin Analyst
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently develop and propose enhancements for high-volume bi-weekly payroll cycles.
- Oversee system upgrades, releases, patches, and enhancements in payroll areas.
- Create spreadsheets for payroll requirements (e.g., LOAs, retro payments, severance, garnishments).
- Continuously review compensation payments for accuracy before system entry.
- Identify and implement Time Management System (TMS) improvements; collaborate with vendors for solutions.
- Lead training, communication, and adoption initiatives for payroll projects.
- Develop and analyze queries and ad hoc reports to meet internal and external data needs.
- Provide guidance on payroll implications such as multi-state taxation, LOAs, and relocations.
- Represent the company in interactions with third-party vendors to ensure service standards.
- Additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Computer Systems, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in payroll analysis.
Additional Skills:
- Expertise in MS Office Suite and payroll-related systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Advanced understanding of payroll principles and standards.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to handle competing priorities and manage confidential information.
- Experience in building productive cross-departmental relationships.
