This role supports mission-critical projects involving video and license plate reader deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with lead engineers to understand project requirements.
  • Fabricate and configure video equipment, including cabling and enclosures.
  • Configure Linux/Windows-based computers and PTZ/LPR cameras.
  • Manage project hardware inventory and ensure quality testing of programmed equipment.
  • Provide on-site support for installations (50% travel).
  • Update and create documentation related to the project.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s degree preferred or relevant experience.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of fixed and wireless network equipment.
  • Familiarity with network video equipment and access controls.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring equipment using computers.
  • Experience with corporate communication tools (email, spreadsheets, presentations).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and creating detailed documentation.
  • Effective working independently or in a team.
  • Experience with tools used in telecommunications.
