Job Description:

The main function of a Finance
Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, modification, and daily functional
support of Finance applications (JDE preferred).

 

Job Responsibilities:

·        
Works with key stakeholders within Finance and
Accounting function.

·        
Gathers requirements from business units and
translates to support Accounting on Month-End close.

·        
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of accounting
function to resolve problems.

·        
Works on multiple projects as a project team
member.

·        
Serves as a liaison between IT and the Finance
and Accounting functions to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

 

Qualifications:

·        
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as
computer science or related field required.

·        
2-4 years’ experience required in financial
systems or accounting support role.

·        
Basic knowledge of Accounting with Financial
systems to understand business processes.

·        
Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting
methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

·        
Project management skills in order to handle
diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.

·        
A high level of interpersonal and verbal
communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems and
Finance/Accounting process level.

·        
Ability to analyze complex situations and
problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information.
